Light forming: Molding thermoplastic resin without a mold.

No mold required. We manufacture thermoplastic resin products with short lead times, accommodating everything from experimentation and evaluation of prototypes to small-scale production.

Traditionally, molding thermoplastic resins required the production of molds, and 3D printers faced challenges such as layering weaknesses and limited materials. However, light molding using silicone rubber molds allows for the molding of thermoplastic resins without the need for expensive molds, achieving significant cost reduction and time savings. It enables quick and low-cost responses from prototypes to final products.

Molding process of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin (CFRTP).

We perform hot stamping molding (TAM molding) and hybrid molding, among others.

Asai Sangyo Co., Ltd. is engaged in the molding of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin (CFRTP). In hot stamping molding, carbon fiber woven fabric and thermoplastic resin film are laminated and hot stamped using molds capable of rapid heating and rapid cooling. This method allows for high-temperature molding that is difficult with methods using electric heating wires or steam. It is also capable of molding complex shapes that are challenging with thermoplastic prepregs. This method utilizes patented technology and is referred to as TAM (Thermo Assisted Molding) molding. The TAM molding method uses high-frequency electric current, resulting in less waste compared to methods using steam or heaters, and can heat the mold above the resin's melting point in a short time. Additionally, hybrid molding of continuous fiber CFRP and long fiber injection molding is a molding method that inserts hot-stamped continuous fibers into injection molding. It enables the integral molding of high strength, high rigidity, and complex shapes. **Features** [Hot Stamping Molding] - Direct electric heating method for molds - Material costs are halved compared to thermoplastic prepregs [Hybrid Molding] - Various shapes of metal products can be replaced with CFRP - Achieves strength comparable to aluminum alloys at half the weight

Contracted Service: Molding of Thermoplastic Resins

We support the production of various products, including automotive parts, aerospace components, and medical devices.

Introducing Nakata Electric Co., Ltd.'s contract service for "Thermoplastic Resin Molding." We perform molding using "Injection Molding," which allows for fast molding speeds and mass production of products, and "Insert Molding," which integrates metal and resin. Most of our plastic molding is done through insert molding. 【Molding Methods】 ■ Injection Molding - Heating and melting pellet-shaped molding materials through a screw - A molding method where the material is injected into a mold at high pressure and cooled for a certain period to solidify - Fast molding speed, enabling mass production of products ■ Insert Molding - Injecting resin around insert items (such as metal parts or nuts) inserted into the mold - Molding that integrates metal and resin - Most of our plastic molding is insert molding *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
